Reverb earnings CSV: check fees and reconcile payouts
By Mardood · Reviewed October 6, 2026 · Manual review guide
Reverb earnings exports can connect individual sales with fees and payout totals. Keep sale currency and payout currency separate when investigating why the deposit differs from the sale price.
Reports to collect
- Earnings export for individual payouts or a selected period
- Matching bank deposit records
- Order and refund evidence for the disputed transaction
How to investigate the difference
1. Download the earnings CSV
Open Earnings. Export selected payout dates or use the date-range export for a broader review. Retain the unedited file.
2. Build an order-level worksheet
Use Order ID, sale price, selling and processing fees, and any other deductions shown in your export. Do not apply today’s fee rate retroactively.
3. Check currency before summing
The export distinguishes sale currency, payout currency and exchange fees. Do not compare a sale-currency subtotal directly with a converted bank amount.
4. Separate ordinary costs from exceptions
A shipping label, promotion or other documented charge may explain the gap. Escalate a specific unsupported row with the original payout evidence.
Worked example
Illustrative example: a $1,000 instrument sale is not evidence of a $1,000 deposit due. Rebuild the payout from its actual deductions; do not use the sale price alone as the expected bank total.
Illustrative only; not a customer result or recovery estimate.
Before using the app
Is Reverb reimbursement recovery automated in Mardood?
No. This guide supports manual payout review. Payout Match and Fee Check accept prepared CSVs; there is no native Reverb report adapter or dispute submission.
