Use the transfer or payout reference for payments. Use the original inventory event reference for inventory; never substitute one for the other. Report requirements

Your first Amazon payout check

Start with one completed USD transfer and its bank receipt. This compares prepared records; it does not import Amazon exports directly or audit the fees inside a settlement.

  1. Get the settlement evidence. In Amazon.com Seller Central, open Payments and find the statement for the transfer you want to check. Download its settlement report and retain the transfer details. Menu labels can vary. Amazon’s payment report instructions
  2. Get the posted bank receipt. From your bank’s transaction history or export, identify the corresponding Amazon deposit. Verify the transfer using the bank reference or trace details; an equal amount alone is not proof of a match. Keep other deposits and personal transactions out of the prepared file.
  3. Fill the expected template. Use one row for the documented net transfer amount after settlement deductions and reserves, not gross sales. Give it a unique row ID, a stable account label, a payout reference, payout as the component, USD as currency and ready as state. Retain the original source.
  4. Fill the actual template. Use the posted deposit amount and exactly the same account label and payout reference. If your bank uses a different reference, verify the link in the source documents first, then use one shared label in both templates and keep your mapping. Never guess a match or add a zero for a missing receipt.

For a transfer without a receipt, check settlement timing and bank status first. A missing match does not prove Amazon owes you money. Use only nonnegative net amounts; negative reversals need separate review. GBP, EUR and CAD are also supported, with each currency kept separate.

Tell us your marketplace and where you are stuck. Do not email passwords, full bank statements or customer information.

1. Prepare the two templates

Copy values from your source exports into these exact columns. Retain original reports separately. This tool does not recognize native marketplace headers, calculate contractual fees, convert currencies, or infer missing references.

Column definitions and matching rules
row_id
A unique ID for each source record within each file. Duplicate IDs block the run.

Stable seller account/provider ID. Must match exactly between the two files.
reference
Payout or transaction reference shared by both files. Exact, case-sensitive match.
component
Use payout in every row.

USD, GBP, EUR or CAD. Currencies never combine or convert.
value
Nonnegative decimal, at most 2 places. No commas or symbols. Negative reversals are unsupported; prepare a documented net amount separately.

Grouping
One expected row per account/reference/component/currency. Several distinct actual rows may match it, for partial receipts. Duplicate-looking events with different row IDs require your review.

Both files must cover the same scope and cutoff. Missing matches can mean timing, incomplete evidence or mismatched keys. They are not automatically discrepancies owed to you. Maximum 10,000 records and 2 MB per file. No tolerance is applied: a one-cent difference is shown.
